Purpose of Verification
Verification exists to indicate observed accessibility of a listed service within a recent time window. It does not imply legitimacy, safety, or endorsement.
What “Verified” Means
A verified status indicates that the service was reachable using appropriate network tooling during automated or manual observation.
Verification reflects a point-in-time observation and may change due to network volatility or service-side controls.
What Verification Does Not Mean
Verification does not imply:
- Trustworthiness or legitimacy
- Operational integrity or security
- Legal status or compliance
- Affiliation with ScopeWTF
Status Labels
Services may be labeled as online, offline, intermittent, or unknown based on recent observations. Historical data may be retained for research continuity.
Limitations
Network restrictions, authentication gates, rate limiting, and anti-crawling measures may prevent accurate observation.
No guarantee is made regarding completeness or timeliness of verification data.
